Speakeasy Relaunch and Fall Quarter 2009

After a trying spring quarter and summer, Speakeasy Magazine is returning for its fifth year serving the Athens community and Ohio University. Our first meeting will be tonight, Monday, September 14 at 8:30 p.m. in Scripps Hall 111. If you are interested in joining Ohio University’s first alternative news and culture magazine for the 2009-2010 school year, please attend the meeting.

Speakeasy is starting its fifth year with a new Web site, new sections and some new staff members. We are currently looking for writers, copy editors, bloggers and video/photographers. The new site is very nearly complete, but there are still a few changes left to be made now that the new school year is underway. Thank you for sticking with us. Keep an eye out for our new writers and new sections.
