Former sex slave tells her story to stop the trade

The FBI has named Toledo, Ohio, one of the leading areas for children as young as 9 to be entered into sex exploitation. Globally, 27 million people are involved in the trans-Atlantic slave trade, which has lasted over four centuries. Belts Breaking Bondage, a student organization that makes stylish belts out of donated fabric and donates 80 percent of the proceeds to an organization dedicated to stopping the sex trade, brought in Theresa Flores on Tuesday, May 19 to discuss her experience with the sex trade.
